Membership model
The membership categories align with the valid ASWA Statute from November 2022.
Full member
Legal entities registered in Serbia, especially public municipal companies, commercial companies in waste management and scientific higher-education institutions that accept the goals and Statute of ASWA.
- Take part in ASWA activities
- Participate in the Assembly and ASWA bodies in line with the Statute
- Have the right to elect and be elected to ASWA bodies
- Pay membership fees in line with the decisions of the competent bodies
Associate member
Legal entities registered in Serbia whose main activity is not waste management, but which are connected with environmental protection, waste management or municipal services.
- Take part in ASWA activities
- Have an advisory role without voting rights
- May be presented on the official ASWA website
- May join projects, joint appearances and member networking
Honorary member
Individuals, public figures, business leaders, scientists or experts whose work has significantly contributed to ASWA and to environmental protection values.
